Roxies Restaurant Buda Mill and Grain ALIGN Austin Architects

Located within the revitalized Buda Mill & Grain district, Roxie’s is a tribute to the Salt Lick’s family legacy and Central Texas hospitality. The design pairs warm, approachable materials with the site’s industrial character. Natural wood millwork, stone detailing, and classic spindle-back seating evoke the comfort and authenticity of Roxie’s kitchen, while layered lighting brings intimacy to the larger volume. A series of communal and intimate seating arrangements create rhythm across the open floor plan, allowing the restaurant to flex from everyday dining to lively gatherings. The result is a restaurant space rooted in history yet distinctly contemporary—celebrating craft, family, and Hill Country tradition.
